Luxury homes and money for an ex-boyfriend How an 18-year-old housekeeper spent’stolen’ money from Cecilia Dapaah

Following reports of an alleged theft at the home of Sanitation and Water Resources Minister Cecilia Abena Dapaah, there have been several additional revelations.

According to a report by The Chronicle, Daniel Osei Kuffour and two house helpers stole millions of dollars’ worth of property and money from Cecilia and her husband’s bedroom.

According to reports, the tragedy took place between July and October of 2022. According to information in the charge sheet, Sarah was a former employee at the time the incident happened, and Patience, also known as Maabena, was the couple’s housekeeper.

According to reports, a total of $1,000,000 USD, €300,000 EUR, and millions of GHC were stolen.

The two ladies, Patience Botwe, 18, and Sarah Agyei, 30, allegedly stole other goods, including bags, clothing, and jewellery worth $.

The brief case facts showed how the money was used by the two accused parties.

The 18-year-old, Patience, is believed to have lavishly spent money that was allegedly taken from the couple.

According to a Chronicle investigation, the following is a breakdown of how the money Patience stole was spent:

* After receiving police bail, Patience is rumoured to have taken off with her boyfriend, Benjamin. The two hid out in Tamale, where they paid GHC 105,600 to rent a three-bedroom flat.

* A thorough search by the police at the Tamale residence turned up enormous sums of money, including US$40,000 and GHC 72,619.70 that are thought to be part of the stolen money.

* In addition to the rented flat in Tamale, Patience is rumoured to have purchased a magnificent 3-bedroom property in Amrahia for US$70,000. A double-decker fridge, water dispenser, TV, washing machine, and chest cooler, among other luxury furnishings, are believed to have been included in the home’s interior.

* Patience also purchased a brand-new Hyundai Elantra for her lover Benjamin, which he later sold to buy a Honda Civic. The Hyundai Elantra cost GHC 80,000.

* The accused is also alleged to have given her father GHC50,000 and her ex-boyfriend Malik GHC$1,000,000 in gifts.

* The young lady is currently defending herself in an Accra Circuit Court against allegations of stealing and illegal possession of stolen stuff along with her accomplice, former housekeeper Sarah Agyei.
